Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the website operated by Alert Is Not Income ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Nature of Service (The "Not a Bank" Clause)

It is crucial that you understand the limits of our service:

We are NOT a Bank: We do not hold funds, process transfers, or act as a financial institution.
We are NOT Tax Advisors: The categorization of your records (e.g., "Gift", "Loan") is done by you or our AI based on your input. We do not guarantee that the FIRS or any tax authority will accept these records.
We are a Record-Keeping Tool: Our sole purpose is to help you organize and store your digital evidence.

3. Accounts & Security

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate and complete. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Content & Copyright

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting Content to the Service, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., AI analysis). We do not sell your private financial data.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

Upload forged or fraudulent financial documents.
Launder money or hide illegal proceeds.
Store illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc).

We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to be using the platform for illegal activities and will cooperate with law enforcement (EFCC, Police) if served with a valid warrant.

6. Subscription & Payments

Parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as yearly). Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Flutterwave, Paystack). We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

7. Limitation of Liability (The "Shield")

IN NO EVENT SHALL "ALERT IS NOT INCOME", NOR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

8. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Alert Is Not Income and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

11. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
